Ethics for Not-for-Profit Organizations – 2023

This session will thoughtfully explore the ethical dilemmas often encountered in not-for-profit organizations. Ethics are at the foundation of a CPA’s practice, but the nonprofit environment offers particular challenges with respect to interactions with governance, donors and other stakeholders including clients or members as well as the public. This session is approved by the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) to meet the VBOA annual 2-hour (100-minute) Ethics CPE requirement for 2023. This session also qualifies for two hours of ethics credit for DC and Maryland.
