Ethics for Not-for-Profit Organizations

This session, which qualifies for two hours of Ethics for CPAs in MD, DC, and VA, will thoughtfully explore the ethical dilemmas often encountered in not-for-profit organizations. Ethics are at the foundation of a CPA’s practice, but the nonprofit environment offers particular challenges with respect to interactions with governance, donors and other stakeholders including clients or members as well as the public. Lou will explore these issues, using examples ripped from recent headlines as illustrative examples.
This course is approved by the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) to meet the VBOA annual 2-hour (100-minute) Ethics CPE requirement for 2022.
