Implementing a New Strategic Plan: Where Finance & Strategy Intersect

When resources are limited, implementing a new strategic plan is no easy task. Often, the impulse is to continuing offering the same products and services while attempting to pursue opportunities identified during the strategic planning exercise. In this session, we’ll focus on strategies for identifying the activities that should be discontinued or reimagined to make room to develop or enhance offerings or to pursue new priorities. We’ll discuss strategies for utilizing both quantitative financial analyses and qualitative feedback from members, staff, trustees, and other stakeholders to deploy an organization’s assets in alignment with its strategic priorities.
