Colleen Cibula is the Acting Chief Executive Officer for Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital. In addition to setting the Council’s strategic direction, she is responsible for overseeing the day‐to‐day operations, including direct supervision of the Membership department, Program Services, Adult Volunteer Development and Camping Services. Ms. Cibula joined the Council staff in 2002 as a part-time employee to facilitate the delivery of Girl Scout programming to girls from low-income communities. She has held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining the Council, Ms. Cibula spent 10 years in the non‐profit sector working with at‐risk youth, and an additional 10 years in corporate marketing and public relations. Colleen is a Girl Scout alumna, she served as her daughter’s Girl Scout Brownie and Junior troop leader. Ms. Cibula resides in Montgomery County, MD.
